Costume Payments Due
All costume payments for the June recital are due by Saturday, December 14th. Payments can be made for costumes at any time via your portal. Just email the studio and let us know that you have made an additional payment that should go towards costumes.
Party Week
Party week in our regular classes! We will dance to winter-themed music, play some games, and have fun before we leave for the holiday break! We will also be building/decorating gingerbread houses, etc. If you'd like to donate anything this week, please see the link. Winter Break
The studio will be closed for Winter break from Monday, December 23rd through Sunday, January 5th, 2025. We will resume classes on Monday, January 6th, 2025, Wishing you all happy, healthy and safe New Year!
Martin Luther King, Jr Day- Studio Closed
The studio will be closed in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Encore Elite Showcase
St. Marks High School 2501 Pike Creek Road, Wilmington, DE, United StatesThis event is open to all encore family and friends! It is closed to dancers at other competitive studios just because we don’t like our choreo being shown prior to the season. The show is on January 26th at 4:00 at St. Marks and is for all Elite teams to showcase their dances for the first time! We hope you will join us and help support our elite dancers as we enter the season!!!
Daddy-Daughter Dance (Mommy-Son, Guardian-Child)
Every ballet class, Prekinder, and Kinderdance class invites you to bring your adult (Daddy, Pop-Pop, brother, family friend, or Mom (not same age or younger sibling please)) to dance! If you are not enrolled in a ballet class, please email us at encoredanceacademyde@gmail.com and we will let you know an appropriate ballet class to go to. If the younger dancers would like to leave after the ballet portion of the class, they can, or they can stay. Sometimes it's hard for the little ones to stay once their adult leaves. We will do stretches, center floor, progressions, and dance together...
Recital Meeting Week
It is recital meeting week! Please make sure to be in attendance for the last 10 minutes of the class so we can bring parents in and go over important items. Ticket sale dates for Seniors is April 3rd, for the rest of the studio, ticket sales are April 7th at 4 PM. PLEASE pay attention to these dates. Do not try to buy tickets the week of recitals as some sell out. More details to come in the meetings.
