  • Trunk or Treat

    Encore Dance Academy Bear 460 Eden Circle, Bear, DE, United States

    Trunk or Treat in the Bear Parking lot! There will be a sign up so we know how many families to expect.  If you want to treat, you have to Trunk!! This is such a fun event, and the kids love it. 4pm start time.

  • Newark Halloween Parade- Elite Ensemble Participate

    Newark Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat Main Street The parade runs from 3pm-5pm down Main Street.  We will have a theme, and everyone can dress accordingly. In past years, we've had to meet at a location around 1ish- we won't know the exact times until we are told by the City of Newark. This is such a fun day for all

  • Studios Closed for Halloween

    Classes are cancelled tonight, October 31st, so families who wish to participate in Halloween Festivities are able to do so!

  • Closed for Thanksgiving

    The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your time off!

  • Costume Measurement Week

    We will measure dancers in classes this week to ensure we order the correct size costumes for our June recital. If your dancer is not in class or misses class for whatever reason, please try to bring them in one day before we close for winter break, as most costumes are ordered during this time. We do ask for their street size clothing in the recital confirmation form, but we still like to get accurate measurements. We do always allow for growth, especially for our tiny dancers - and as a reminder, dance costumes are supposed to fit like this...

    We are closed for winter break from December 22nd through January 3rd and will reopen on Monday, January 5th.  

  • Bring Your Daddy to Dance Week (or any Special Adult)

    💃 Bring Your Daddy (Adult) to Dance Week! 🕺 Every ballet class, Prekinder, and Kinderdance class invites you to bring your special adult—Daddy, Pop-Pop, older brother, family friend, or Mom/grandmom, aunt) (please no same-age or younger siblings)—to dance with you! 👉 Not enrolled in a ballet class? Email us at encoredanceacademyde@gmail.com, and we’ll help you find the perfect class to join. If younger dancers would like to leave after the ballet portion, that’s okay—or they can stay!
