Trunk or Treat in the Bear parking lot! We do have a sign-up so we know how many families to expect and how many parking spots to save! This is a fun event for all! January 11 - January 16 Bring Your Daddy (Adult) to Dance Week! Every ballet class, Prekinder, and Kinderdance class invites you to bring your special adult—Daddy, Pop-Pop, older brother, family friend, or Mom/grandmom, aunt) (please no same-age or younger siblings)—to dance with you! Not enrolled in a ballet class? Email us at encoredanceacademyde@gmail.com, and we’ll help you find the perfect class to join. If younger dancers would like to leave after the ballet portion, that’s okay—or they can stay! We understand it can be hard for little ones once their adult leaves. Unveiling of our 2026/2027 competitive dances! Tickets will be on sale soon!
This week, dancers will come to class dressed in their costumes. Hair and makeup should be done. This is the final check of all accessories, costumes, shoes, tights, etc before the actual recital. The costumes and dances will run in the same order as their regular classes on the night of their regular classes. Dancers should bring dance clothes to change into - if time permits, we will finish up our class with fun dance games! Parents will be able to come in to watch and take photos after the dancers show their dances.
June 8-11th will be the Mandatory ON STAGE dress rehearsals at St Marks high school. Recital shows will be on Saturday, June 12th and Sunday, June 13th! We will run in the order of the shows (orders to be shared at a later date). Dancers will arrive in their first costume, based on the order of the show, and have the rest of their costumes labeled if applicable. ONE parent can accompany the dancer into the auditorium to help them get changed, take photos, etc. Once your dancer is done with all of their dances, they can leave. This is...
